Reality TV sensation Doyin took to Twitter to shed light on her enduring battle with haters, sparked by a nostalgic trip down memory lane when she shared an old school yearbook photo.
Recalling her teenage years, she reminisced about the genuine comments in the yearbook that struck a chord with her.
“One of my favorite phrases was about my haters becoming my followers,” she disclosed, hinting at her high school strategy of ignoring haters until they faded away, revealing that her encounters with haters date back to her secondary school days.
“I’ve had haters for a long time, not just today. They’re like ants drawn to sugar… they can’t just let me be,” Doyin candidly shared, comparing her haters’ persistence to ants’ attraction to sugar.
This revelation stirred speculation that Doyin had dealt with haters even in her early years, a struggle that has continued into her adulthood. Just recently, she sparked controversy by expressing her reluctance to date or marry someone living on the mainland while she resides on the island, firmly asserting that such a relationship would require the person to relocate.
Reflecting on the past year, Doyin expressed gratitude to her haters for contributing to her popularity and mockingly encouraged them to continue talking about her in the new year.
