Kenneth Okonkwo was born on November 6th, 1968, in Nsukka, Enugu State to Ozioko Francis Okonkwo (Father) and Beatrice Okonkwo (Mother). Not much is known about his early life and siblings.

Kenneth Okonkwo attended the Union Primary School in Nsukka and the St. Theresa College in Nsukka where he obtained his first school leaving certificate and West African Senior School Certificate. Kenneth Okonkwo started acting at the age of 17 and has featured in over 200 movies. He rose to the limelight after his role as Andy Okeke in the movie “Living in Bondage”. He has worked with the likes of Patience Ozokwor, Mercy Johnson, Olu Jacobs, Pete Edochie, Tonto Dikeh, Ramsey Noah, Nkem Owoh, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Uche Jumbo, Van Vicker, Kanayo.o.Kanayo, Chioma Akpotha and many more. He started his political career in 2014 and has so far run for two offices. He is currently a member of Labour Party.
