Kidnappers of the Director General of the All Progressive Congress campaign in Ovia Federal Constituency, Mr Monday Aighobahi, are demanding a ransom of N200m to release him.
Mr Dennis Idahosa, who earlier raised the alarm, told newsmen in Benin City that the kidnapping was politically motivated.
Idaho’s further disclosed that the kidnappers contacted him directly two hours after the abduction.
He however stated that the people behind the motive have failed, as the liberation of Ovia is the resolve of the people not only his and that the will of the people cannot be killed.
