The Lagos State Government has revealed its plans to press 5 charges against Baba Ijesha who allegedly defiled a 7 year old girl and molested her again 7 years later.
With the charges the government listed against the infamous actor Baba Ijesha, he might likely face life imprisonment.
Pearls News will recall that Akin Olafeso, the lawyer to embattled Nollywood actor, Olarenwaju Omiyinka popularly known as Baba Ijesha, had revealed his client was set up by the Nigerian comedian Princess.
In a post shared on Facebook, Akin Olafeso said Baba Ijesha had an illicit affair with Princess in the past, an advantage he took to molest her 14-year-old foster daughter.
According to the Lawyer, when the female comedian got the wind that her daughter was molested, she decided to set Baba Ijesha up to teach him an unforgettable lesson.
However, Akin Olafeso vowed they are ready to meet Princess in court.
He wrote: “My client had an illicit affair with Princess in the past, unknown to Princess, Baba Ijesha took advantage of his access to her house to sexually molest her adopted daughter. She got wind of this, she decided to set Baba Ijesha up to teach him an unforgettable lesson. We are ready to meet Princess in court” Baba Ijesha’s Lawyer, Akin Olafeso.
A few days ago the CCTV footage of Baba Ijesha molesting the14-year-old girl was published by Punch Newspapers which generated several reactions online.
The victim’s parents and foster mother, who have been suspecting that their daughter was being sexually abused, installed CCTV to uncover the perpetrator and while monitoring the situation at home on phone, Baba Ijesha was seen conducting himself in a suspicious manner around the teenage girl.
