On Wednesday while Speaking on a programme on Channels Television, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Ita Enang said President Muhammadu Buhari is doing his possible best to attend to the demands of the #EndSARS protesters.
He added that the Nigerian leader is on top of the situation to protect the lives and properties of every Nigerians after violence and chaos broke out in some parts of the country. Enang noted that President Buhari will address the nation at the right time.
He said: “The President doesn’t come to talk at every moment and at every point in time. He gives instructions and it goes down. Let me tell you that those pictures are depressing and incensing.
They are not comfortable and less than noble”.
“But I want to plead with Nigerians that please, it is time for us to come to the table. The table has been created in every state. All the demands made by the #EndSARS protesters have been accommodated. The other ones which are now multiplying and increasing are being accommodated”.
“I want to say that in the coming days, you will see the actions that will come from the presidency and Nigerians will be satisfied.”
