Comedian and media personality, Mr Jollof, has called out Nigerian music artistes over what he described as “unrealistic billing,” warning that it could affect the excitement of the coming festive season.
In a post shared on Instagram, he appealed to artistes to consider fans, promoters, and communities who are already struggling with high costs.
According to him, if the current performance fees continue, there may be “little justification” for shows or events to pay such high amounts.
He wrote, “Please, let’s be reasonable so December can remain a season of joy, not disappointment.”
