A man has been killed after arriving in the country few days ago for the governorship and house of assembly elections held yesterday.
The deceased identified as Uchenna Agugua, who hails from Umuaka community in Imo state – was allegedly murdered during the elections yesterday following a mayhem reportedly initiated by hoodlums.
According to Gideon Chidiebere, a Facebook user, the deceased just returned from Mozambique just for election before his death.

‘Uchenna Agugua, my Brother, why will your destiny end be at the stupid election day. You came back from Mozambique just for election, you wanna stand for a friend now see the end. Politics is a stupid game please my people do not risk your life. RIP brother from Amiyi Umuaka’
