A 27-year-old Indian man, P. Sooraj has been apprehended for killing his wife by throwing a cobra snake at her twice.
Sooraji who had been unsuccessful at killing his wife, Uthra, the first time, tried again using a different snake earlier this month.
According to reports, Officers said phone records showed the suspect had been in contact with snake handlers and had also been watching videos of snakes on the internet.
In March, he bought a highly venomous Russell’s viper, which bit Uthra, and left her in hospital for almost two months, police official Ashok Kumar said.
Sooraj, waited until Utha was sleep then thew the snake at her, he then stayed up all night to make sure he didn’t get bit.
Uthra was discovered the next morning by her mother in law.
