Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has thrown a shade at fathers who don’t play their roles ,calling them the reason for so many broken families.
The actress’s statement has sparked different reactions on Twitter,with many opposing her utterance.
Nelson wrote on Twitter:”To the men, if you arent TRULY ready to be in a child’s life, F*cking protect yourselves, you are the reason for so many broken families and kids out there! A man’s world??? Today isnt your day if you haven’t put in any work!”
In reaction to her rant ,a certain Twitter user with the handle @geenaeus, replied her saying she has been tagged by some people as a home wrecker.
He wrote:”All these rants aren’t necessary my dear. Remember that you @yvonnenelsongh have been tagged by some people as a home wrecker…It is alleged that you have a kid with a married man against all odds. Yet we still deem you worthy of being celebrated on mothers day. Give men a break”.
Another Twitter user with the handle, @grahamfoxworthy slammed Yvonne Nelson,saying her statement is a total disrespect to men.
“Yet when we celebrate mothers day. We celebrate all mothers regardless of how much they contribute to the table. Some woman are also the reason for broken homes. Don’t generalize the effect. This is total disrespect to Fathers. Everyone deserve to be celebrated”.
