A day after assumption of office, Imo State governor, Emeka Ihedioha, has ordered the demolition of the Akachi Tower and other monuments built by the immediate past governor, Rochas Okorocha.
The Akachi tower, one of the many tourist attractions in Owerri, was built on a reclaimed dumpsite that was abandoned by previous administrations and was commissioned by the Vice Pres. Osinbajo barely one week ago.
