Members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) have suspended their ongoing nationwide strike.
The unions made the decision on Wednesday night, November 15, following the intervention of the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.
The National Deputy Vice-President of the TUC, Tommy Etim, disclosed this after a member between the leaders of the organised labour and Ribadu in Abuja.
Recall that the unions last week went on a nationwide strike over the alleged brutalisation of its National President, Joe Ajaero, during a protest in Imo State.
