Nipsey Hussle’s daughter, Emani has reportedly been enthroned to the custody of her father’s sister following the ruling of a court, on child custody.
According to TMZ, Tanisha Foster, the mother of Emani was in court on Monday, trying to regain custody of her 10-year-old girl but the effort was futile. Emani has been living with Nispey’s sister, Samantha, since his death last March.
Nipsey’s family was in court and squared off with Tanisha, whom they believe is not fit to care for Emani. Although the hearing was sealed, there’s another date scheduled in July.
Tanisha’s lawyer, Larry Lewellyn, told TMZ that he’s working with Nipsey’s family on a visitation schedule that will be in Emani’s best interest.
Reports stated that Tanisha left the courtroom crying and “pissed off.”
