A French billionaire and his family have pledged millions of Euros to help rebuild the Notre Dame cathedral razed by fire yesterday.
French billionaire François-Henri Pinault pledged 100 million euros within hours of the devastating fire to help reconstruct the historic site.
Pinault is the chair and CEO of luxury group Kering, which includes Gucci and Saint Laurent, and president of French holding company Groupe Artémis, which owns the fine arts auction house of Christie’s.
