Patience Jonathan’s bid fails,the ex First Lady lost her bid to topple the transitory ruling of a lower court that instructed the Federal Government to freeze her $8.4 million.
A five-man board of the Supreme Court today in Abuja maintained the request of transitory relinquishment made by a Federal High Court in Lagos in regard of the cash connected to her by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
In a judgment on Friday, the court consistently pronounced that the intrigue documented by Jonathan was without legitimacy. The court requested her to return to the lower court to legitimize her responsibility for cash to keep its lasting relinquishment to the Federal Government.
