Veteran Nollywood actor, Amaechi Muonagor was laid to rest on Friday, June 21 in his hometown in Ugamuma village, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The popular epic movie actor died in March after a prolonged illness with kidney failure.
Former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, who joined family and colleagues to bid the late actor farewell, prayed that God grant the actor’s family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Sharing pictures on X.com, Obi wrote, “Today, in Obosi, Idemmili North LGA of Anambra State, I joined the Muonagor family, the Nollywood entertainment family, and other mourners to bid farewell to veteran Nollywood actor Amaechi Muonagor, who was laid to rest today.
“May God, who called him home at this time, grant him eternal rest and grant his family, the Actors Guild of Nigeria, and all of us the fortitude to bear his sad irreplaceable loss. May God protect and bless his family always.”
