Nigeria police force have allegedly arrested ailing actor, John Okafor AKA Mr. Ibu’s son and adopted daughter, Jasmine over N300 million donations meant for the actor.
According to the report, the duo withdrew the said amount out of the donations account meant for the actor. It was made known that they have been detained at Alagbon police station.
Also, it was stated that the actor’s wife allegedly planned to buy herself a new house with the money before the son and adopted daughter outsmarted her.
There have been several crisis within Ibu’s family following the donations received from the actor’s well-wishers. He cried out some months back about his illness and received massive support from Nigerians. His leg has however been amputated to keep him alive.
Mr. Ibu’s wife and his adopted daughter, Jasmine have been dragging each other on the social media and laying several accusations against themselves since the actor got ill.
Actress Doris Ogala alleges that Jasmine and Mr. Ibu’s sons have been arrested for moving out N300 million from the account meant for Mr. Ibu’s treatment.
On her Instagram story, the actress wrote, “Jasmine and Me Ibu’s sons arrested at Alagbon Police Station … They are detained there. Ibu’s wife alleged that Jasmine moved 300 million out of the account. Ibu’s wife allegedly wanted them to buy her new house from the money contributed so far for Ibu’s treatments.. that’s why she arrested Jasmine. But investigation states that the money contributed so far is not even up to N300 million. Naa wa oh.”
