The Port Harcourt Refining Company has reportedly suspended operations just days after the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Ltd announced that it had fulfilled its promise to restart the facility.
The surprising turn of events was uncovered by a reporter who visited the refinery on Friday, November 29, and found the facility inactive, with no visible signs of operation.
Sources at the refinery also revealed that some workers disclosed the facility is currently undergoing a calibration process, which could last until next week.
