The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have welcomed their second child, a baby girl.
The Duchess of Sussex gave birth to a 7lb 11oz daughter on Friday, June 4, in California and both mother and child are healthy and well.
The newborn has been named Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, after both her grandmother and great-grandmother, according to a statement published on the couple’s Archewell website on Sunday, 2021.
“On June 4, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family,” the statement reads. 📷: GettyImages
