The internet is agog over the documentary about the story of Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (C.M.D.M), Warri, Delta State, popularly called Mercy City alias ‘The Arena of Solution and Power’.
The viral video highlights the secret tears of the anointing which got many thinking that carrying a prophet’s mantle is not all that glamorous.
Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, the King David of his generation in an exclusive chat said: “To survive as a prophet, you must allow the Lord to heal those places of pains or challenges when they come. If you don’t allow the Lord to heal those wounds, it will taint your prophetic flow.
Those around us may not ever understand the pain of the anointing and being misunderstood, but Jesus did. Jesus is the prophet’s model.
To endure as a prophet, you must know who you are first, and be rooted, grounded, established in the Father’s love (Ephesians 3:17).
It’s easy to be guarded and learn to deal with challenges but as prophets we will always be subjected to challenges and misunderstood because God set us apart for His glory. But we must learn to reject the rejection, pains, challenges which comes to wound and infiltrate our hearts”.
Prophets are not appointed and picked by man; they’re handpicked by God the Father.
The Lord told the Prophet Jeremiah, “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.
Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations” (Jeremiah 1:5). When the Lord marks someone to be a prophet, He forms them with a unique make up and different wiring that sets them apart from others, allows them to have certain sensitivity to the things of the Spirit.
The Lord will use prophets as a spectacle before men and often times they become the message.
Because of the way the Lord uses prophets, they are ridiculed, rejected, made fun of, talked about, etc. Every prophet in the Bible faced the pain of the grace, even Jesus. No prophet is immune to the pain of the anointing. You want to know what Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin’s pain is.
