Porn star Jessica Jaymes’ cause of death has been revealed. According to a newly released coroner’s report, the AVN Hall of Fame inductee died of natural causes following a seizure after years of battling alcoholism.
The adult film star born was found unresponsive at her San Fernando Valley, California, home on September 17, 2019.
She was in cardiac arrest when her business partner and friend discovered her at home.
Paramedics who were called to Jaymes’ home later pronounced her dead at the scene. She was 40 years old.
It was indicated in Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office records that Jaymes’ cause of death was a massive seizure.
The report also reveals that the adult film actress suffered for years from chronic alcohol abuse. Her death was characterized as ‘natural.’
At that time Jaymes died, the business partner who found her body told adult video site AVN that he expected her to die young because of her many medical issues.
‘I was like, “When is going to be her time?
” Because I knew it was coming,’ he told the site. ‘She was so unhealthy, so many problems, health issues with her back, her nerve system, the seizures in the past six months. I was just waiting. It was a question of time. She was so young.’
Jessica Jaymes started off with soft porn in 2002 when she was 26 but got her big break in 2004 when Hustler signed her. She made her “coming out” debut in 2005 in the adult film “The Porn Identity”, before winning Hustler magazine’s “Honey of the Year” award that same year. Her latest credits include three films in 2017, with one directed by porn industry regular Miles Long.
