Global pop star, Rihanna has been banned by religious groups in Senegal, from visiting their country, claiming she belongs to the ‘illuminati’ fraternity.
The singer who was scheduled to visit the country with French president, Emmanuel Macron for her charity course which focuses on girl-child education, may have to take her charity course to another country.
The group known as “No To Freemasonry And Homosexuality” is protesting her visit because they think she is a member of Illuminati.
Rihanna will be visiting West African countries as part her role as an ambassador for the Global Partnership Education (GPE).
GPE is an organization which aims to fund the education of millions of children and young people in developing countries.
It was gathered, however, that the interior minister of Senegal maintained that the singer will not be stopped by any religious body from visiting the country.
