Michael Adebayo (born 1999), known professionally as Ruger is a Nigerian afro-pop singer and songwriter. He became known in the music industry after being unveiled into D’Prince Jonzing records which are also home to the music star Rema and the top-notch producer Ozedikus. His amazing vocals have been a focal point to music fans across the globe.
Early Life
Ruger was born in 1999 in Lagos state part of Nigeria where he had both his primary and secondary education.
He is the only son of his family.
Career
Ruger began doing music at a very early age when he was a vocalist in his church choir. He also began composing songs during his high school days.
He developed a passion for music with influences from the likes of 2baba, Rihanna, Beyonce, Bob Marley and so on.
Ruger became known after he was unveiled by DPrince’s Jonzing records, a record label on January 18, 2020.
He already boasts of numerous hit songs such as bounce, bow, yelp, and many others.
