Popular Nigerian musician, Folarin Falana, AKA Falz has revealed how he was attacked and narrowly escaped death with his band members.
The quite outspoken singer recalled how the incident happened 10 years ago.
He made the revelation during a recent Podcast interview.
He said; “The incident happened in 2013 between Abuja and Lokoja after we did our first N1 million gig in Abuja and we were going to another gig in Benin.”
“Our vehicle was attacked by gunmen numbering about five and the driver was killed instantly, leaving the vehicle on a free drive until it eventually crashed into a forest.”
“When we regained consciousness, we saw a hoodlum and he demanded money from us.”
“I told the hoodlum that we had no money and after many threats, he and the gunmen shooting at the road ran away after hearing police sirens.”
“The police eventually came to our rescue after many private cars refused to help us to the hospital.”
