More trouble for DMW boss, Davido as his first babymama Sophia Momodu accuses him of cyberbullying and online harassment.
In a recent turn of events, Momodu’s legal representatives, PUNUKA Attorneys and Solicitors, issued a strongly worded cease-and-desist letter to Davido’s legal team.
The letter anticipated Tiwa Savage’s submission of a police report against Davido and brought attention to a series of online assaults, defamatory statements, and purported threats initiated by Davido and his associates.
The cease-and-desist letter outlines concerning incidents of alleged online harassment directed at Momodu and her close associates.
It contends that Davido is implicated in endorsing smear campaigns on various social media platforms, orchestrating coordinated cyberbullying assaults, and issuing menacing statements aimed at individuals associated with Momodu.
The letter asserts that such conduct infringes upon Momodu’s constitutional rights and disregards essential principles of decency and respect.
Momodu’s legal representative, as mentioned in the letter, communicated that despite attempts to reach out to Davido’s legal team to caution the singer, the online attacks persist.
Expressing strong disapproval of Davido’s actions, Momodu’s legal team condemns his behavior as “condemnable” and “grossly lawless.”
They issue a warning, stating that Davido will be held responsible for any harm inflicted upon Momodu. The lawyers underscore the seriousness of the alleged threats and the purported premeditated intentions attributed to the musician.
The letter reads in parts;
“It is shocking that notwithstanding our earlier email to your good self which was not responded to and the Petition against your client curently being investigated by the Police, your client has continued with his disruptive and unlawful conduct.
“Our client in the last couple of days has been subjected to a series of coordinated attacks and cyberbullying orchestrated by your client and his cohorts.
“We are again by this letter reiterating our position expressed in our earlier email that your client would be held responsible for any harm that may befall our client as such will be a clear manifestation of the threats and premedicated ambitions of your client.”
