It has been confirmed that some gunmen on Monday, September 13, disrupted the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) exam in Nkume community, Imo State.
The hoodlums, suspected to be members of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) who were enforcing the sit-at-home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), reportedly stormed the Comprehensive Secondary School, Nkume, and stopped students from taking their English examination.
According to reports, the students were preparing to begin the examinations when the gunmen forcefully dispersed them, and also set their bikes ablaze.
