Nollywood actress, Etinosa Idemudia has been battling lots of controversies for the past few weeks.
Recently, she was in the news again for laying curses on an Instagram fan and his son for reminding her of her past.
In a Telephone conversation with pearlsnews.com the fair and beautiful Thespian speaks on how she deals with scandals.
“People are still trolling me over the MC Galaxy naked Live video. However, when the matter gets out of hand, I keep quite. I can’t go around trying to explain to everybody how it happened or why it did. How many people would I get to?
So, once it gets bad, I withdraw and keep calm. The only thing that can make me cry is betrayal and mean people. I also don’t like it when people just walk out of my life, when I least expected it.”
Sharing her thoughts on the way women are being treated in the entertainment industry, Etinosa asserted that women are being treated fairly.
“In the entertainment industry, is it so sad that women are judged by their sexuality and not by their content or what they have to offer.
They call her sexy and that’s it. I don’t want to be called sexy, or to become sexy, I want to be called intelligent. I want to be addressed as that intelligent actress and not that sexy actress.
I don’t like that word sexy. I think the media should help to also sensitise the information to make women stop feeling bad about themselves. To me every woman is beautiful. I think the fact that we are alive and breathing we are all beautiful. Sexy sounds more sexualized.
Everyone deserves equal opportunities in life to define and redefined themselves.”
