Popular Nigeria’s Afro-pop singer, Yemi Alade has finally puts to rest allegations of an underground supremacy battle with Tiwa Savage.
The beautiful Johnny crooner said she still finds it difficult to comprehend why the public pitches Tiwa and herself against each other.
You will recall that the Afro pop singer refused to defend Tiwa Savage while the radio presenter described her as a crap musician.
She had also rated herself equal to A-list music acts like Tiwa Savage, Davido, Olamide and others
Since after then there has been speculations of the female singers secretly beefing each other.
In a chat with E-Daily, Yemi clarifies her position on the allegation saying “Whatever makes them sleep well at night. I’ll never comprehend why the public likes to pitch successful people against one another, we are all winning, and that’s what is important. But like I said, whatever makes them sleep well at night.”
“Every female in the Nigerian music industry is doing great and I’m glad for the chance and opportunity to take our music places”, she noted.
