She has gone on to feature in “Homely: What Men Want” directed by Akin Harisson and starring Femi Branch and “The Itch” directed by Chubuike Ibe and starring Chucks Chyke and Lilian Esoro, all from 2018. In the same year, she was alongside Nancy Isime in the movie “The Fake Life of Abuja Housewives”.

It was “City Crime” a series on Iroko TV that Uche played what she says is her most intense role so far. She played the role of a smart police officer. Her other movies include Tosin Igho’s “Seven“, “Made in Heaven” directed by the award-winning Toka Mcbaror and starring Richard Mofe-Damijo and a certain Lasisi Elenu, “Mad About You” directed by Victor Okpala, “Hire a Woman” a movie which many will remember for featuring Big Brother Naija 2018 housemates Bambam and Ifu Ennada, “Banana Island Ghost” directed by BB Sasore and also starring Ali Nuhu, Tina Mba and Bimbo Manuel, the comedy series “Sisterly Speaking”, the 2019 movie “Hire a Woman” which also has a certain Erica Nlewedim in the cast, “Exit Plan” etc.

In August 2020, “Maskers” a show about drug money began airing on Africa Magic Showcase with Uche in the cast.

On her career roles, she says that, most times, she is given a “fine girl” role but that “I want people to see that I can do way more than that.” On her most preferred roles, she says she would love to play a woman suffering a terminal illness and struggling for life. Or a victim of abuse.

Uche Nwaefuna owns a production house which she rents out for photography, filming, and video shoots.

    Relationship

There was a scene in Basketmouth’s series “My Flatmates” which must represent the manner men pursue her. She comes to visit her sister played by Wafai Fada and the men of the house go mad. Basketmouth, Buchi, Yew, and Emmanuel Ikubese fought and climbed over each other in other to make her acquaintance and at least half of them have girlfriends within two miles of Uche.

If Uche is in a relationship, she hasn’t disclosed that and Linda Ikeji hasn’t told us (Linda is getting lazy these days). Nwaefuna may be keeping it low key or she isn’t at all. “I like a man who is kind, patient and ambitious,” she said when asked her dream man on Punch. “I love a man that is always willing to talk things through and is constantly working towards being better. I love a man that yearns for success as much as I do. I love a man who is soft-spoken, compassionate, loves kids and can bring me out of my bad moods.

“Also,” she said as an add-on which may as well be the real thing, “I love a man that has money.” Now you know. Also noteworthy is the fact that she makes it clear she will never leave acting because of a man. This you will think is rather far-fetched as this is 2020 and a man who marries a celebrity would only be keen to help her career flourish. But that is not always the case. She is right to point it out now to avoid future miscommunication.

    Comfortable, sexy and classy

On her fashion choice, Uche used these words “comfortable, sexy and classy” to describe her choices. She says when she picks up a dress, these are the things that come to her mind. She goes on to point out that she would never go naked in the name of fashion. Those of us who follow her on Instagram do not even want her to go all the way. A sexy smile here, a cleavage there, a flash of lap over there is enough for us.
