Dr. Dre took to social media to offer an update on his health after suffering a brain aneurysm on Monday. “Thanks to my family, friends, and fans for their interest and well wishes,” wrote Dre. “I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team.”
He continued, “I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
According to reports, Dr. Dre has suffered a brain aneurysm and is currently in the Intensive Care Unit at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Sources close to Dre told TMZ he suffered the aneurysm on Monday and was immediately taken to the hospital, where he remained Tuesday.
Fortunately, doctors say Dre is stable and lucid, although they are unaware of what caused the bleeding.
