    “Very soon Yahoo Boys will start paying tax” – Nasboi reacts to plan tax, registration on skitmakers

    Popular Nigerian skitmaker, Lawal Bolaji well known as Nasboi has knocked Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC for reported registration and payment of taxes on skitmakers and social media influencers.

    The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) is telling social media influencers on Instagram and TikTok to register their businesses. They need to follow the Company and Allied Matters Act of 2020.

    The CAC Registrar General, Hussaini Magaji, talked about this when Opay’s Managing Director, Dauda Gotring, visited him in Abuja. Magaji said that social media influencers make a lot of money without paying taxes.

    He said that according to the law, everyone doing business in Nigeria, whether using their name or another name, must register their business. Magaji warned that they will enforce the law and make sure people follow it.

    He also said that soon, the CAC will check if these businesses are paying taxes like they should.

    In a reaction to the proposed registration and paying of taxes, Nasboi took to the comment section of TundeEdnut’s post to knocked the organisation, Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), proposing a registration and payment of taxes for social media influencers and skitmakers.
