Three suspected h*man parts dealers have been arrested by the operatives of Amotekun corps in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The suspects — Ismail Muraina, Abdlerasheed Olanrewaju, Olalekan Akande — who connived to kll one Adeniyi Adebisi Samuel, 73, for rtual purposes, were arrested following intelligence reports from the members of the public.
Parading the suspects on Tuesday, September 21, the State Deputy Commandant of Amotekun, Kazeem Akinro, explained that Ismail Muraina confessed that he chrmed the victim because he saw him as unstble.
He noted that the suspects confessed that they sold h*man heads based on the size and amount available in the hand on their customers.
According to him, the suspects specialised in selling hman parts to ritulists who are in need of them, and they usually sell it between N4,000 and N100,000.
“We heard a report about some suspected ritu*lists yesterday evening. We started the investigation and we arrested the first suspect in his house who later took us to the other suspects.
The suspects confirmed that they kidnapped a man along Amuloko-Akanran road, slughtered him and remved his head. The head was then given to one Abdulrasheed Olanrewaju who needs it for ritals. We apprehended Abdulrasheed but he had already brnt the head into ashes,” he said.
