The former big brother naija housemate reality show star Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, popularly known as Doyin, said she told her mum after she “broke” her virginity.
The show star said she briefed her mother on her coitus experience, noting that it was a pain and sweet feeling.
Doyin added that her mother adviced her on how to make copulation pleasing.
She made this revealion known during the latest episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast hosted by Chinedu Ani Emmanuel.
Doyin pointed out that most parents don’t discuss sex education to their children,as a matter of fact, many have been deceived by strangers.
She said: “When I lost my virginity, I spoke to my mum about it. I said, ‘Mummy, this thing [coitus] did not feel this way.’ And we had a conversation. She was like, ‘Okay, this is what you should do. Do you use a condom?
Mother’s on this note need to create an environment where their kids can open up to them. There’s nothing I cannot say to my mum. I wasn’t enjoying sex for a while and I told my mum.
So to say that [sex education] starts from the house. Parents need to create an atmosphere where their kids can openly speak to them about anything. At the end of the day, it’s either they’re speaking to you or they’re speaking to someone else.”
