Veteran singer, Aṣa, has revealed why she featured Grammy Award winner Wizkid on her latest album V. Both artistes collaborated on a track titled ‘IDG’ (I don’t go).
Asa explained that she decided to work with Wizkid, because there was a natural chemistry between them. “With Wizkid, there’s a friendship. Before the music, we sit down, we have a drink and just talk about all kinds of things— animals and normal things about his life,” she said.
Continuing she explained: “I thought it (the song) would be great with Wizkid because it fits his temperament, so I sent it to him and he loved it. It was natural. “Before we do a song, I want it to be honest. We should have a connection with all these collaborators (on the album), that was what we did.”
