It was indeed another ground breaking record, as renowned
comedian, Acapella and his crew shut down Lagos Mainland with his annual comedy
event, “Comedy Goes To Church”.

 David Christain Centre recorded a huge attendance for the comedy show that was held last Sunday February 28.

Guests came charged up and ready for a night of premium entertainment and they were not disappointed in one bit.
The event kicked off in earnest when Acapella stormed the stage with back to back performance and introduction of the guest comedians from Akpororo, Aboki4Christ, Gordons, Sam and Song, Bishop, HumbleSmith and lots more.

Then came the moment of the night, when Comedian Acapella finally made his full appearance on stage. The guests got uncontrollably excited and cheered him up for staging such a show with so many crowds in the hall.

The Rib cracker took his show a notch higher, cracking jokes
using the condition of the country as a case study as well as sharing exciting
experiences from his childhood days to University days. He delivered a
50-minute set and went on to appreciate everyone who supported his show.

The night’s big surprise was an appearance by young a d the rave of the moment Humble Smith who took guests to another level with his hit song ‘Osinachi’. 
Another unforgettable moment was when comedian Aboki4Christ
cracked a joke of pregnant women and their bizarre requests at odd hours.“Some pregnant women can be very funny, some will wake up in
the night with load shout, when their husbands ask what she wants, she replies
with tears, ‘’darling, I want to eat charcoal”. This really got everyone
laughing uncontrollably.
