Bimbo Ademoye, popular Nollywood actress has said in opposition to what some people think, constantly creating content puts one under a lot of pressure.
Bimbo, who is known for the cinema series, ‘Sibe’, and ‘Iya Barakat Teropi Secxxion’, noted that fans pressure’s them to put out content, not understanding the amount of money and time making such content consumes.
She said to Saturday Beats, “It puts me under a lot of pressure. One can shoot two films worth millions of naira and after one uploads the film, fans would be asking for more after just one hour; not knowing that one pumped in millions of naira into it.
I spent millions to shoot eight episodes of ‘Sibe’, and after it finished showing, people were asking for more episodes. I had to tell them to relax and let me recover my money first.”
2023 had been ‘a really beautiful year’ for her.The actress points out.
She maintained that combining acting and brand influencing came to her easily. “I just go with the flow. I have been blessed to know what trend to follow. Influencing is a money-making machine, and it is fun. I get paid to do what I love, so it has been quite easy for me to handle both,” she said.
She stresses that content creators needed to constantly transform because watching the same type of content can easily be boring.
