This is the third fire incident in 48 hours in the State. The incident occurred around 3a.m at a beer parkour called Padded Joint at Akwudo, Otolo, #Nnewi, claiming the lives of three female workers who were sleeping in the building.
As usual, the owner had locked the beer parlour where the three girls slept and left for her house with the keys, only for the fire to start in the early hours of Friday.
The source of the fire is yet to be ascertained but the corpses of the deceased have been deposited at the Nnewi Diocesan Hospital by the police.
