A baby was born on the evening of July 11 (7/11) at exactly 11 minutes past 7 on the 7-Eleven Day and she weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces at the time of birth.
All through Rachel Landford’s pregnancy, she said she kept seeing the numbers seven and 11 but she didn’t realize it was foreshadowing.
Then, on July 11, which is 7-Eleven Day, a day the convenience store chain 7-Eleven celebrates by giving out slurpees, Landford went into labour. At exactly 7:11 that same evening, she gave birth to a daughter named J’amie Brown who weighed 7 pounds and 11 ounces at birth.
Landford told CNN: “I thought it was weird at first, and I didn’t know that (the numbers) meant so much. A lot of the times (during the pregnancy) I would look at the clock and it was 7:11.”
Landford also has a 6-year-old son and she says she plans to tell the 7-Eleven chain store about her child’s timely birth.
