The Mayor of Atlanta has set aside a day in the city of Atlanta to celebrate the Nigerian singer, David Adedeji Adeleke aka Davido, following the success of his A.W.A.Y festival held in Atlanta, USA.
In a message to the singer on his birthday, November 21, 2023, the Mayor noted that Davido has “captivated audiences worldwide, becoming a global icon in the music industry.
