Korra Obidi, a well-known socialite and divorcee, recently shared her perspective on the benefits of being single in the entertainment industry.
During an interview on the “Heroes Diary” show, she highlighted how being married can limit one’s opportunities. Initially, people are excited and supportive when someone gets married and starts a family.
However, as time passes, their relevance diminishes, and they no longer receive invitations to shows or offers to appear in movies.
Interestingly, when someone gets divorced or becomes single again, everyone suddenly expresses sympathy and wants them back.
Based on her own experiences, Korra Obidi concluded that being single is the optimal choice in the entertainment industry.
“One thing about we humans is that when somebody’s married. I don’t know you people don’t like the person anymore. You kind of like go ‘ahh happy married life’, and then ‘she can’t be on my show,’ ‘she can’t be in my movie’. But now I’m single… I’m getting booked back to back, so it’s good for me. I think being single is good in the industry.”
