For some days now BRT passengers have been stranded by fuel scarcity, now a typical sight at BRT bus stops in Lagos state is the curiously huge horde of people hanging tight for the arrival of an accessible BRT bus.

These passengers are now and again exposed to hours-long wait for BRT bus. In the nighttime, the situation totally deteriorates. At that point, workers wait for longer for the arrival of accessible buses.

From our investigations, it was found that the shortage of fuel at the fuel station of the sole franchisee of the Lagos BRT administration was the reason behind the shortage of accessible buses at BRT bus stops.
