Prof. James Nwoye Adichie, the father of international writer and renowned author, Chimamanda Adichie, is dead.
Adichie passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday night at Chira Memorial Hospital, Awkuzu, Anambra state. He was 88. .
He was an Emeritus Professor of Statistics and Mathematics at the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN).
