Iconic Nollywood actress Funke Akindele who has been listed among the cast in Marvel’s upcoming movie, “Avengers: Infinity War”, will not speak Yoruba.
It was gathered that the actress will speak the hausa language owing to the role she will be interpreting.
On Wednesday, Marvel announced on their website that she will be playing a member of the Dora Milaje, a group a female selected from each tribe to protect the Black Panther.
According to the profile on their site, the Nigerian actress will be recruited from the Wakandans.
The Wakandans traditionally speak the Hausa dialect, but only to the king and to each other.
The “Avengers: Infinity War” is set to premiere in April, 2018.
I watch online trailers of Avengers: Infinity War and these are really great. I can't wait to watch full movie.
