I am excited you’re alive – Zlatan Ibile celebrates Oladips’ return

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Nigerian music sensation Zlatan Ibile, known for his distinctive style, expressed overwhelming joy over the return of his friend, Oladips. Zlatan, who had been deeply distressed by Oladips’ reported passing, shared a photo of himself, visibly emotional, with tears streaming down his face.

Reflecting on the tumultuous period, Zlatan confessed,

“I cry tire, I no care where you go, I just thank God say you come back.” He highlighted the impact of Oladips’ music during the challenging time, revealing he had immersed himself in Oladips’ album Superhero Adugbo, learning each track by heart.

The rollercoaster of emotions began when news of Oladips’ supposed demise surfaced on November 15, 2023, leaving Zlatan shattered. Initially speechless, Zlatan posted nostalgic photos of their pre-fame days, grappling with the loss of his friend.

However, the circumstances surrounding Oladips’ “death” stirred controversy, prompting speculation of a publicity stunt. Oladips addressed the situation, clarifying his severe illness and the three days of unresponsiveness that led to the false reports. He later apologized to the public for the confusion.

Zlatan and Oladips share a longstanding friendship, and Zlatan’s jubilation at Oladips’ return echoes the relief felt by fans worldwide.
