Alice Iyabo Ogunro-Ojo popularly known as Iyabo Ojo is a Nigerian actress, movie producer and entrepreneur. She is popular for featuring in Yoruba movies. Iyabo Ojo was born on 21st December 1977 in Lagos, Nigeria.
Iyabo Ojo attended National College, Gbagbada, Lagos. She proceeded to study Estate Management at Lagos State Polytechnic.
Career and Movies
Iyabo Ojo picked interest in acting while in secondary school. She was a member of the drama group while in secondary school.
In 1998, Iyabo Ojo made her first debut in the movie industry after she featured in the movie Satanic. She subsequently registered as a member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) through the help of Bimbo Akintola.
In 2002, she made her debut in the Yoruba movie industry in the movie Baba Darijinwon.
Since then, Iyabo Ojo has featured in many Yoruba and English movies across Nollywood. Some of her movies are Agogo Ide, Ojanla, Silence, Beyond Disabilities, Arizo, Awusa, Trust, Gone to America, Divorce not allowed and many other movies.
Iyabo Ojo started producing her own movies since 2004. Some of the movies she has produced are Bolutife, Bofeboko, Ololufe, Esan and Okunkun Biribiri.
