Usually the word “cottage” conjures an image of a quaint little home nestled between trees or in a nice shady grove, or maybe in a nice suburban area, right?
Well your thinking is outdated, cos according to royal definitions of 2018 a cottage is a fancy mini-mansion in a sprawling estate with “a coved ceiling with gilded dolphins and rope ornament from a 19th century royal yacht”.
