Nollywood luminary Yul Edochie recently asserted a stern stance against those disrespecting President Bola Tinubu, cautioning against any derogatory remarks aimed at the political figure.
During his appearance on White Pearl Studios TV, Edochie firmly stated his intolerance towards individuals insulting President Tinubu. The actor’s declaration follows a previous incident where he criticized Arise TV presenter Rufai Oseni for allegedly exhibiting a disrespectful attitude towards guests supporting the Tinubu administration.
The altercation unfolded between Rufai Oseni and Jesutega Onokpasa, an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, during a program on the TV station. Oseni’s disagreement with Onokpasa’s viewpoints on President Tinubu’s decisions, specifically on the fuel subsidy removal and Nigeria’s economic state, sparked contention.
Edochie made his stance clear, declaring,
“Two individuals should never be disparaged in my presence: my father and President Bola Tinubu.”
The actor’s stern warning reflects his adamant stance against disrespect towards President Tinubu, underlining his determination to defend the political figure from undue criticism or insult.
