Katy Tur is the anchor of Katy Tur Reports on MSNBC, a correspondent for NBC News, and the author of the New York Times bestseller Unbelievable. Tur is the recipient of a 2017 Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism. She lives in New York City.
Katy started her journalism career as a reporter for local news stations. She also got a brief gig as a storm chaser. Later on, she joined NBC news, rising from one of the network’s local stations to the national platform. Today, she is one of the most prominent personalities in American media.

She also worked as a correspondent in NewsNation with Tamron Hall. Since 2012 now, she works as a correspondent for TV series like NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, Today, and Weekend Weekend Today.

In an event in Florida, Trump supporters booed her and verbally harassed them. But, following the incident, Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway addressed the issue and said that Trump never wanted anyone to attack or harass her.
