Controversial businessman and philanthropist Obi Iyiegbu, widely known as Obi Cubana, has blamed the “get-rich-quick syndrome” among youth on societal and family pressures.
Cubana in an Instagram post on Monday emphasised the need for people to begin to shift their values and teach youths to learn to accept and love themselves and not live above their means “in a bid to belong”.
He warned that societal and family pressures are expectations that affect the entire community. These, he warned, could pressure young people into cybercrime (Yahoo Yahoo) or ‘money rituals’.
